The 2014 Ascension Hot Air Balloon Festival returns to Gonzales, right in the heart of Ascension Parish.
Join us Friday, September 26, through Saturday, September 27, at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center. This home of the festival will combine hot air balloons, entertainment, music, food, fun and surprises.
After a successful 2013 festival, organizers are thrilled with the opportunity to expand our 2014 festival and add to the fun. On the lush green fields of the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center, you and your family can take in the sights of the festival in a relaxed and comfortable setting, while enjoying the rural, open spaces.
Bring the entire family down to Lamar-Dixon from September 26 - 27, and see why this year’s 2014 Ascension Hot Air Balloon Festival is the place to be this summer. Admission is $2.00 for adults, free for children 12 and under.
