Great event, in the wide open spaces of Northern Nevada, 12 balloons, flying every morning, and school presentations and a Friday evening 'glow' show, with the largest gathering of locals attending.
If you have driven across Northern Nevada and stopped in Winnemucca for gas or food and thought WOW, this would be a great place to fly, here is your chance.
Invitations go out to last years pilots first in mid January then it opens to others to apply to attend.
Have had pilots from all over the west attend and most come back year after year for the fun and easy going attitude of the event and local area.
Lots of things to explore in the area when your not flying, or enjoying the activities of the event.
Traditional Invitational/Open Bowling Tournament is the highlight of the weekend, as is the committee hosted BB-Q on Saturday.
